The 60th Celebration Weekend for the E-type Event will commence on Saturday February 20th with a morning display of as many Jaguars as possible in the Supreme Court Gardens. Obviously we hope to surpass the number of E-types displayed at the 50th E-type Anniversary held at the same venue.

At lunchtime those members taking part in the weekend celebrations will depart for Busselton. In the evening at Abbey Beach Resort there will be a Welcome Poolside BBQ following the same format as organized by the National Rally Committee.

Members from the SW Register will also be joining the function. On Sunday morning there will be the Hinterland Day Tour with lunch at Evedon Lakeside Retreat, as previously organized by the Steve Guy, Loren Bywaters and Graham Mealyea for the National Rally. There will also be a questionnaire on route to keep the participants alert!

Members will return to Abbey Beach Resort to relax prior to joining the Poolside Quiz night at 7.30pm, organized by Ray and Celeste Norton. If members would like to dine before the Quiz they can preorder and pay for their meal which will be served promptly at 6.30pm. This function concludes the 60th E-Type Celebration.

We have reserved 20 studio spa suites at Abbey Beach Resort, still at National Rally prices, these are being held until January 6th 2021. Any member who books prior to this date, even if the 20 rooms have been taken will pay the same price, bearing in mind February is a very popular wedding month and accommodation will be at a premium in Busselton.

We must stress that it is very important to know the numbers participating in the Abbey Beach Functions and for the lunch on Sunday so please register promptly.

In a way one could say this is part of the National Rally is being ‘Reborn’, and we are indebted to the National Rally Committee for all their hard work in organizing these events.
