York Motor Show 18th &19th September Theme this year “Rock n Roll”
With the unbelievable turn out of Jaguars at last years York Motor Show I had hoped this year we would finish up with a venue more befitting a Jaguar’s Status in the Motoring community!
With torrential rain, flooding more space has been lost and unfortunately we are back in the same location but at least we won’t get lost!
To further take the edge of what could have been a great day in York various other organizers have all latched onto the 19th September as being the perfect day for a car show.
But anyway I would love to see as many Jaguars as possible in York and not sure which Jaguar meets the “Rock n Roll” theme best of all?
Highlights of York is the York Motor Museum and additional Motoring book writer Graeme Cocks will be launching his latest book there, appropriately a history of the historic car races held in York through the 1980’s. The book titled “York’s Fabulous Flying Fifties” is being printed in limited quantities and the price is $60 per copy and like all of Graeme’s book will be well researched.
Make you own way there and there is no official start time that I can but would guess aim to be there around 10am on Sunday 19th September I will be there early and will direct cars.
Anyone requiring a copy of Graeme’s book let me know and I will take the Jaguar Station wagon!
