Mark your calendars and get ready for an absolutely delightful day out in the picturesque Chittering countryside! Join us for a fantastic adventure on Wednesday 18th October, as we embark on a journey to Enderslea Farm and then indulge in a mouthwatering feast at the fabulous Stringybark Winery and Restaurant! ️
Enderslea Farm is a breeze to find at 681 Blue Plains Road, Chittering, just off Tonkin Highway/National Highway 95 in Muchea. Turn right into Blue Plains Road, and you're there! After our farm adventure, we'll cruise down Blue Plains Road, hang a right onto Chittering Road, and keep on driving until we reach Stringybark Winery at 2060 Chittering Road, Lower Chittering. It's on the left, and you can't miss it!
Our day kicks off at 10:30am at the charming Enderslea Farm, where history comes alive! Diane Pope, the lovely owner, will be our gracious host, guiding us through the mesmerizing National Trust and Heritage Listed buildings, dating all the way back to 1859! ️ But wait, there's more! Diane will spoil us with a scrumptious morning tea fit for royalty, featuring sponges, fruit cakes, biscuits, and juicy strawberries, all paired perfectly with piping hot tea and coffee. The cost is just $15, payable in cash to Diane – a real steal!
After our delightful morning at Enderslea, we'll hop back into our trusty Jaguars and take a short drive down Chittering Road to the culinary haven that is Stringybark Winery and Restaurant. We'll arrive around 12:30pm, just in time to tickle our taste buds with an array of delectable dishes.
