Special Presentation – The Hottest XJC in Australia

Members are invited to attend what promises to be a fascinating evening when well-known Jaguar enthusiast Chris Causo joins us to present one of the most remarkable Jaguar XJC builds in Australia – the sensational “Wyldcat.”

Chris’s car has gained a reputation among enthusiasts as arguably the hottest Jaguar XJC in the country, combining classic Jaguar styling with serious performance and race-bred engineering. During the evening Chris will share the story behind the creation of the Wyldcat, outlining the inspiration for the project, the engineering challenges involved, and the extensive work that has transformed this classic coupe into a truly formidable machine.

A highlight of the presentation will be Chris’s discussion of the car’s Targa competition history, where the Wyldcat has demonstrated both performance and reliability in demanding conditions. Chris will provide insights into what it takes to prepare a classic Jaguar for motorsport, the modifications required to compete successfully, and some of the memorable moments experienced during Targa events.

To complement the presentation, we will also screen YouTube footage of the Wyldcat in action, giving members an opportunity to see and hear this remarkable Jaguar performing as it was intended — at speed.

Even better, members will have the opportunity to see the car up close. Chris will be displaying the Wyldcat at the JCCWA 60th Anniversary Car Show at South Perth on 12 April, where it is sure to be one of the standout vehicles on display. This will provide enthusiasts with a rare opportunity to examine the car in detail and appreciate the craftsmanship and engineering that has gone into its development.
