Hello Cats,
Hope you all have been enjoying the cooler weather and are ready for our next event?
Its time we meet in a park again, so please bring your chairs and drinks for a gathering at the Erle Scott Reserve, There is a car park next to Tyre Power on Capel Drive. We are meeting there at 10am for a catch up and drink, don't think you will need any food as lunch is not long after. Leaving at 11am, once we are all together we only have a short drive to The Capel Marron Farm, 7minute depend on how fast the Jaguars are feeling. We head down Forrest Road on to Hutton Road which changes to Goodwood Road. Then there is a turn to the left, along a sealed road to the restaurant The Capel Marron Farm. Getting there early means we should get the best parking.
First established in 1988, Capel Marron Farm has long been part of Capel’s agricultural landscape. In 2019, the property embarked on a new chapter driven by a bold vision for innovation, sustainability and long-term regional growth. Since then, the farm has undergone significant redevelopment and restoration, with the expanded marron hatchery becoming the cornerstone of its operations.
A good select of meals. Which are priced reasonably for a restaurant. The menu can be see on the link above. We even sampled some while investigating the venue, and yes they have a range of Gluten Free meals and can catering for Crustation allergies with prier notice. We have booked tables along the windows over looking the ponds.
Hope to see you there.....
Graham, Loren and Steve
