JCCWA Members’ Lunch Cruise to Sittella Winery & Restaurant 100 Barrett St, Herne Hill, Wednesday 8th April 2026             

Our effervescent Member, Clive Rawson renowned not only as an all-round good fellow but also as a man of impeccable taste in wine, dining and Jaguars has put forward an excellent suggestion for a special members’ lunch at the delightful Sittella Winery & Restaurant in the heart of the Swan Valley.

This is a splendid opportunity to experience one of Western Australia’s most charming vineyard settings. Established in 1993, Sittella is a privately owned winery led by Simon and Maaike Berns, supported by a passionate team dedicated to producing high-quality, traditional wine styles. Drawing on fruit from the Swan Valley, Margaret River, and the Deep South, Sittella has earned a reputation for excellence that pairs perfectly with its relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

The winery takes its name from the native Sittella bird, often seen among the trees lining the nearby Swan River, an apt symbol of the natural beauty that surrounds this hidden gem.

Set amongst rolling vines along a gently winding road, Sittella offers a tranquil escape just 30 minutes from Perth. With sweeping vineyard views from the verandah, guests can indulge in fine cuisine complemented by award-winning wines in a setting that encourages one to linger just a little longer than planned.
